Director, Violin
Started studying the violin at the age of 4 in the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus, Syria. He then continued his studies in the Arabic Institute of Music in Damascus (later called Solhi Al Wadi School of Music) until the age of 18. In 2008 he was accepted at the Damascus Conservatory and continued his studies with a talent based Full Bright Scholarship in the United States, where he finished MCC and Tarleton State University with Honors.
He participated in Many orchestras in Syria, Lebanon, Thailand, Mexico, and the USA.
He held many concerts as a soloists and in chamber settings. Along with his pianist wife (Talar Kahkejian), they constantly work on new repertoires for the violin and the piano.
Andreh participated in concerts with the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra, the Syrian National Orchestra of Arabic Music, and some other orchestras in the country.
He participated in Masterclasses with experts from Germany, USA, France, Russia, Czeck Republic, and more.
His international participations include concerts in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, UAE, France, Thailand, Mexico, USA, and Russia where he participated in the Festival “Russia in the eyes of compatriots” in 2018.
Throughout his career, he received many honors and grants.
His biggest project yet, was to start the Soloists of Damascus Ensemble, with the aim to take the Syrian music abroad.
