Buzuq
born in Damascus, is a member of the Syrian Artists Union. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Music with a specialization in the Buzuq with a very good grade. He teaches the Buzuq and Oud at several government and private institutes in Damascus and its suburbs. He is also a member of the Syrian National Orchestra for Arabic Music. He has collaborated with many Syrian and Arab artists, including Mayada El Hennawy, Hani Shaker, Abeer Nehme, Marwan Mahfouz, Moein Sharif, and Mayada Bselis. He has participated in the 6th, 7th, and 8th Buzuq Festivals and received recognition from the Syrian Opera House. He performed at the opening music for the 60th Damascus International Fair. He has performed as a soloist with various groups, including the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra, Qasid Band, and Watar Band. He is a member of the Damascus Soloists ensemble, which held its first concert at the Damascus Opera House under the direction of Maestro Misak Baghboudarian and later performed at the Russian Union in Moscow, on the stage of the Rachmaninoff Institute at the Tchaikovsky State Institute, and in Novosibirsk at the Eurasia Theater.
