Born in Homs Joined the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus, where she graduated in 2011 with a specialization in Eastern singing and the law. She studied singing with the Syrian opera singer Arax Tchakmajian and the violinist Feras Sharistan. She participated in numerous workshops held at the Higher Institute of Music during her studies and after her graduation.

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Damascus in 2012.
  • She has been a singer in the Chamber Choir of the Higher Institute of Music since 2008, under the direction of Victor Babenko and later Mysak Baghjoudarian, where she participated in several concerts inside and outside Syria (Italy, Algeria, Jordan, Lebanon).
  • She also performed the role of alto in the “Stabat Mater” by Pergolesi, conducted by the Russian expert Victor Babenko in 2008 and with the Gardinia Choir in 2015.
  • She participated in several concerts with the Duzan Choir and the Utaar Al-Urduni under the direction of Sherine Abu Khader and Maestro Mysak Baghjoudarian in 2011-2014.
  • She also took part in the presentation of “John” at the Syrian Opera House and in the Sufi Music Festival in Fez, Morocco, as well as in opera roles in Marseille and Nice, France, in 2009.
  • She performed as a soloist in Syriac hymns in Rome, Italy, in 2014 and 2015.
  • She performed Mozart’s Requiem as a soloist with the Narigatsi Choir from Aleppo and the Damascus Orchestra in 2016 under the direction of Father Elias Ghanji.
  • She toured in Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Denmark), Britain, and Turkey with the Syrian Musicians Orchestra in 2016.
  • She participated as a soloist in Nouri Al-Rahibani’s work “The Dead Cities” with the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra at the Syrian Opera House in 2017.
  • She participated in the Syriac hymn choir “Al-Qoqoyo” with Professor Nouri Iskander.
  • She has been a member of the “Chilly Band” since 2010.
  • She has a song titled “Halwarda” with lyrics and music by Naseem Deep, arranged by Shalan Al-Hamwi.
  • She works to revive Syriac music and has performed concerts dedicated to Syriac heritage.
  • She has held numerous solo concerts at the Syrian Opera House, including selections from Syriac singing, songs by Zaki Nassif, and various other programs in Damascus and cultural centers in Syrian provinces.
